Welcome to the Route Cochin Experience. Route Cochin is an online magazine based in Cochin. We are a group of young and multitalented people with a vision to elevate the standards of web publishing in India.

Cochin is our hometown, our muse and the charming protagonist of our stories. From this beautiful port city, hailed as the Queen of Arabian Sea, we have embarked on a journalistic voyage to spotlight the simple and beautiful things in life which are often submerged in busy days and monotonous schedules.

The search for stories always takes us to the streets of Cochin. The people we meet and the places we discover are so diverse that with each passing day, we stumble upon more and more intriguing facets of our city. We share these stories with the world through a magazine called Route Cochin. We love Cochin walks and Cochin talks, especially with people who share a similar love, fascination and passion for the place. We are also excited about meeting travellers, the vibrant souls with unquenched curiosity.

From the combined perspectives of a designer (Sudhith) and a writer (Ananya), we narrate to you enthralling stories of our land and let you revel in the history, culture and traditions of one the most beautiful colonial cities in India.  A trail with us means visiting places which are like our expanded neighbourhood, meeting people who are like our extended family and taking time to see, feel, appreciate, interact, share, love and belong. In our culture, when a new bride or groom comes to a family, we have a custom of taking the couple to visit the households of relatives and friends. The hosts prepare their homes to welcome the new member, cook delicious food and make sure that they feel at home. In the same way, during the trails, we introduce our new family member.
