Villa de Zoysa - the ancestral home is run by owner Devinda de Zoysa, grand son of founder and his friendly dogs!
It was built in 1907 by a wealthy aristocrat and has remained in the De Zoysa family ever since. The family made there fortune in the early part of the last century. With acres of coconut palm trees, and contemporary British architecture, the property retained in the de Zoysa family ever since it was built in 1907. It is truly an exceptional villa and known to everyone in the area as “The White House, Yoga”!

As you approach from the road, up the driveway from your weary travels you know you have arrived at an exclusive private villa, which is rare and unrivalled in the south of Sri Lanka. The villa stands tall with its Greco Roman white columns set within a facre garden. It has been lovingly maintained, with its large collection of original antiques, art and crafts.
